Artificial Intelligence (AI) is the broad field of creating computer systems that perform tasks normally associated with human intelligence.

Examples include:

  • Understanding language
  • Recognizing images
  • Predicting future events
  • Recommending products
  • Planning actions
  • Generating text, images, audio, or code

AI is the largest umbrella. Machine learning is one way to create AI.
