Types of hackers:

  1. Good Hackers (White Hats): These are the good guys. They use their hacking skills to find and fix security flaws in systems, making the internet safer for everyone.
  2. Bad Hackers (Black Hats): These are the bad guys. They use their hacking skills to break into systems illegally, steal information, and cause harm.
  3. Inexperienced Hackers (Script Kiddies): These hackers are beginners. They use pre-made hacking tools and scripts without really understanding how they work. They often cause mischief but aren’t usually very skilled.
  4. Activist Hackers (Hacktivists): These hackers have a cause. They use their hacking skills to promote social or political change, often by defacing websites or leaking sensitive information.
  5. Government-Sponsored Hackers (State-Sponsored): These hackers work for governments. They use their skills for espionage, sabotage, or cyber warfare to further their country’s interests.
  6. Fame Seekers: Fame-seeking hackers target high-profile systems to gain recognition or attention within the hacker community. Their motivation stems from the desire for notoriety rather than financial gain.
  7. Pranksters:Pranksters are individuals who engage in playful or mischievous activities to trick, tease, or amuse others, often without causing harm. They may engage in practical jokes, hoaxes, or pranks to entertain themselves or others.
