Explanation

Information functions return TRUE/FALSE or other information about the contents of a cell.

Important Information Functions

Function	Purpose
ISBLANK	Checks whether a cell is empty
ISNUMBER	Checks whether a value is a number
ISTEXT	Checks whether a value is text
ISLOGICAL	Checks whether a value is TRUE/FALSE
ISERROR	Checks whether a value contains any error
ISERR	Checks for errors except #N/A
ISNA	Checks specifically for #N/A
ISEVEN	Checks whether a number is even
ISODD	Checks whether a number is odd
ISFORMULA	Checks whether a cell contains a formula
CELL	Returns information about a cell
TYPE	Returns the type of data
