Rows

Used to display categories vertically.

Example:

Product → Laptop, Mouse, Monitor

Columns

Used to compare categories horizontally.

Example:

Region → North, South, East, West

Values

Contains the numbers being summarized.

Common calculations:

  • Sum
  • Count
  • Average
  • Max
  • Min

Filters

Used to filter the entire PivotTable.

Example:

Filter → City → Sirsa
