AND
AND returns TRUE when all conditions are TRUE.
Syntax
=AND(condition1, condition2, …)
Example
A student needs 40+ marks in both subjects:
=AND(B2>=40,C2>=40)
Both conditions TRUE → TRUE
Even one condition FALSE → FALSE
IF + AND
=IF(AND(B2>=40,C2>=40),”Pass”,”Fail”)
OR
OR returns TRUE when at least one condition is TRUE.
Syntax
=OR(condition1, condition2, …)
Example
If an employee meets either the Sales target or Performance target:
=OR(B2>=100000,C2>=90)
IF + OR
=IF(OR(B2>=100000,C2>=90),”Bonus Eligible”,”Not Eligible”)
