Slicers

Slicers provide clickable buttons for filtering PivotTables and PivotCharts.

Example:

City

[Sirsa] [Hisar] [Fatehabad]

Category

[Electronics] [Accessories]

Create a Slicer

Select the PivotTable:

PivotTable Analyze → Insert Slicer

Choose the required fields.

Interactive Filters

Interactive filters allow dashboard users to change what they see without modifying formulas manually.

Possible filters:

  • City
  • Product
  • Category
  • Employee
  • Month
  • Year

Practice

Add Slicers for:

  • City
  • Product
  • Category

Test each filter with your PivotCharts.
