Explanation

Ungroup removes a grouping that is no longer required.

Go to:

Data → Ungroup

You can ungroup:

  • Selected rows
  • Selected columns
  • Entire outline

Example

If January–March has been grouped, select those rows and choose:

Data → Ungroup

The outline is removed, but the underlying data remains.

Practice

  1. Create a row group.
  2. Create a column group.
  3. Ungroup the rows.
  4. Ungroup the columns.
