Excel’s Get Data tools can connect to supported SQL databases.

Typical process:

Data → Get Data → From Database → From SQL Server Database

Then provide:

  • Server name
  • Database name
  • Authentication details

After connecting, select the required table or query.

You can choose:

Load or Transform Data
