Explanation
Scenario Manager is a What-If Analysis tool used to save and compare different sets of input values.
Instead of manually changing values repeatedly, you can create scenarios such as:
- Best Case
- Normal Case
- Worst Case
- Low Sales
- Expected Sales
- High Sales
Go to:
Data → What-If Analysis → Scenario Manager
Example
A business wants to compare three sales situations:
|
Scenario |
Quantity |
Price |
Cost |
|
Low Sales |
80 |
₹450 |
₹300 |
|
Normal Sales |
100 |
₹500 |
₹300 |
|
High Sales |
150 |
₹550 |
₹300 |
The same Profit formula can be used for all three scenarios.
Practice
Create a Profit Model and identify the cells that will change between scenarios.
