PivotTables can be filtered using:
- Field Filters
- Label Filters
- Value Filters
- Report Filters
Example
Show only products where:
Total Sales > ₹50,000
Calculated Fields
A Calculated Field creates a new calculation inside a PivotTable using existing fields.
Example:
Suppose the source data contains:
|
Quantity |
Sales |
|
5 |
₹4,000 |
A calculated field can be used for a business calculation such as:
Profit = Sales − Cost
Note: The exact availability and workflow of Calculated Fields depends on the PivotTable/data model being used. For standard PivotTables, the classic Calculated Field command is available through PivotTable analysis options.
Practice
Create a PivotTable showing Sales and add a suitable calculated business metric.
